The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Sales Manager will be responsible for overall revenue generation and oversight of marketing at BKY Technologies. Serving as a “face” of BKY, the Sales Manager will pursue and develop new business opportunities consistent with the profile of client for the BKY, explore and build on existing revenue streams / customers, pursue strategic partnerships, work to elevate the BKY brand to achieve increased market share, and support the CEO on specific projects.
The Sales Manager will be supported to work under a home office arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall, business development, sales and marketing for the company.
- Understand and continue to learn about the scope of services offered by BKY.
- Oversight and recommendations on marking initiatives and activities.
- In consort with the CEO, establish sales plan(s) with measurable outcomes.
- Through client relationships identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Over time, make recommendations on the buildout of a high performing sales team.
- Analyze pricing and propose strategies that maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness.
- Analyze customer base and scope of services to identify potential new value creation models.
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) where applicable.
- Develop lead generation initiatives and sources.
- Manage, review and propose improvements to digital marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Track emerging markets and trends.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, certificate, degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or other related or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience successfully leading business development, sales and marketing, preferably within the technology sector.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized in preparation and implementation.
- Experience using CRM technology to support the sales process, emphasis on Hubspot.
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Analytical and mature approach to understanding and communicating a value proposition(s).
