Many industries are coming together through their industry associations to speak with one voice, promote their interests to various levels of governments and improve their operational efficiencies through buying groups.  Successful industry association leaders have strong listening skills, the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders and the enthusiasm and can-do attitude to build a strong community across their industry.
